[ CareDox raises $6.4M in Series A ]

CareDox has raised $6.4 million in Series A funding.

Founded in 2010, CareDox enables schools to electronically manage student health data and communicate student health information between the school, parents, and pediatrician. Aggregate student health data can then be used by school administrators to seek the funding and support they need to help their students.

The company will use the new  funds to continue to accelerate adoption of its electronic health records platform and expand the ecosystem of healthcare providers.
