Clover Health has raised $130 million in Series D funding.
Founded in 2014, Clover Health is an insurance startup using data science for preventative health care, that has become Silicon Valley’s newest, and a rather reluctant, unicorn.The company handles insurance claims and other benefits for about 25,000 Medicare Advantage customers in New Jersey.
The new financing will be used to continue to develop Clover’s platform and expand into new markets.
