DocPlanner has raised $16.8 million in Series D funding.

Founded in 2011, DocPlanner  is an online booking platform that enables patients to find local physicians for healthcare appointments.

The company plans to  use the money for expansion into Latin America with the opening of new offices in Brazil and Mexico over the next six months, for development of advanced software for doctors, and for marketing and sales activities in core markets in Southern Europe and Latin America.
