[ SuperLeague raises $15M in Series C ]

SuperLeague has raised $15 million  in Series C funding.

Founded in 2014, SuperLeague  is the world’s first recreational video game league in a cool movie theater. Every week gamers bring a laptop and friends to a nearby Regal, AMC, Cinemark or iPic.

The Series C round also secured investments from film production firm DMG Entertainment, Toba Capital and Cali Group. Other investors include Jeffrey Vinik, owner of the NHL team Tampa Bay Lightning, and esports ownership group aXiomatic, which Vinik recently joined.
