[ Intuition Robotics raises $14M in Series A funding ]

Intuition Robotics has raised $14 million in Series A funding.

Founded in 2015, Intuition Robotics  is a maker of elder care assistant robots that helps older adults to connect with family and friends through video chats.Its first product is Elliq, an artificial intelligence (AI)-driven robotic companion that resembles a piece of furniture or a lamp that sits on a table conversing with its owner.

With the fresh cash injection the company will be able to expedite the development and testing of Elliq.
