ZeroFOX has raised $40 million in Series C funding.
Founded in 2013, ZeroFOX protects organizations from the risks introduced by social networking and digital communication platforms. It helps companies manage social media risk including scams, malicious links and account hijacking.
The company tends to sell to security teams and CISOs along with risk and fraud groups and marketing (which is usually in charge of a company’s social media accounts). They also sell to ISPs who are trying to protect their users.
